We are Coaching Team Munich

Julian Holch

I am experienced and reliable, and I work with structure, appreciation, and humor.

Christine Griebsch

I bring great openness and warmth, and I am a holistic companion with keen intuition and a clear mind in every change process.

Matthias von Schaper

I am a strong, honest, and humorous sparring partner who, with sensitivity, mindfulness, passion, and expertise, gets to the heart of the topics you bring.

Our approach

A person’s personality is not static; it develops and changes continuously. This understanding is the starting point for our coaching.

In an environment shaped by pressure to change, uncertainty, and contradictions, self-competence becomes the key to a fulfilling life in both the workplace and private life. By self-competence, we mean reflecting on and developing both the thinking and performing sides of our personality as well as our emotional, creative, and relational sides.

Our coaching supports this personal growth process. We work not from a deficit perspective, but with a resource-oriented approach; i.e., we support you in perceiving your abilities, potential, and needs.

personal — individual — thoughtful

How we work

We are independent in every respect and work with whatever questions, problems, and challenges you bring.

With healthy distance and empathy, we support you through your personal growth and change process. For us, coaching encompasses—like a kind of bracket—the individual’s mental, physical, and emotional experience.

You will better understand the connections between your inner attitude and your own behavior patterns, opening up new ways to find solutions.

Our coaching is successful when you recognize and take up new perspectives and options for action in your professional and private everyday life.

independent — empathetic — action-oriented

Our experience

All three of us have substantial experience as managers or project leads in companies. In our coaching and work with teams, we bring practical corporate experience, many years of psychodynamic expertise, and a broad range of experience from working with people.

We coach using the Meta-Theory of Change method, a coaching method recognized by the German Federal Association for Coaching (DBVC). It ensures that we do not merely help you superficially, but can support you sustainably through change processes.

Coaching in English

Welcome to our website! We provide coaching in both German and English. We also offer team development and change management services in English. Although German is our mother tongue, we have all spent much time in English-speaking countries, so we are effective in both languages. If you are interested, please look at the references on our website from English-speaking clients who found our coaching very helpful in achieving their goals.

Please feel free to contact us using our contact form or by leaving us a message. We will respond within one business day.

  • Support for executives during role transitions
  • Support for career reorientation
  • Systemic organizational consulting
  • Organizational development according to Theory U
  • Conflict mediation
  • Team and conflict workshops
  • Agile working methods and organizational forms (“New Leadership”)

I bring over 20 years of experience as an executive and project manager to my coaching sessions. Following a commercial apprenticeship and a degree in economics, I held various leadership positions in retail, consulting, and occasionally in cultural management. Most recently, I served as Managing Director of a media company. I have a deep understanding of business and organizations.

In particular, I am familiar with the challenges of digital transformation and have implemented numerous practical projects in the media, telecommunications, retail, and tourism sectors. I have supported change processes in large corporations as well as medium-sized enterprises, introduced agility in various contexts, and worked internationally.

I have been working as an independent change consultant, team developer, and coach for around 15 years, supporting organizations, teams, and individuals in their change processes. I am passionate about making a difference in a short space of time together with the client team. Change and working with people are my motivators.

As a coach, I have access to a high-performance network of experts (HR consultants, organizational consultants, mediators, therapists) that I can involve in my work with clients as needed.

I was born in 1966, am married to a child and adolescent psychiatrist, and have three children in their young adulthood. In my free time, I enjoy being with people together – whether with family, friends, or playing music in an orchestra. I enjoy good books and enjoy running or hiking in nature.

  • Personal Development Coaching
  • Executive Coaching
  • Mindfulness Coaching incorporating physical resources and embodiment
  • Conflict management with colleagues, superiors, or employees
  • Communication Coaching
  • Application and Career Coaching
  • Crisis Coaching and Burnout Prevention (MBSR according to Jon Kabat-Zinn)

After completing my degree in Business Administration, I spent many years working in marketing at Bosch-Siemens-Hausgeräte. I understand the multifaceted processes within large-scale and industrial enterprises; beyond the technical level, I have always been fascinated by the many interactions between people, departments, and hierarchical levels, as well as the “how” of working together. Since then, I have spent over ten years in customer relationship management within an international, medium-sized market research and consulting firm in the telecommunications, automotive, and digital sectors. Here, too, I see how vital and multidimensional communication is, along with the need for continuous learning to keep pace with change.

Living abroad in England for several years and working in global, international teams allow me to maintain a non-judgmental, reflective perspective without losing sight of the uniqueness of the individual. For me, both marketing and coaching are efficient and goal-oriented when they prioritize genuineness, authenticity, and sustainability.

Furthermore, I have served as a legal guardian for people in need for several years. Following my DBVC-certified training at Hephaistos, I now work as a freelance coach with great joy and enthusiasm.

I am married and have three nearly grown children. What makes me happy: being in nature , traveling, and always being able to discover new things , as well as reading, seeing things from different perspectives and exchanging ideas with people about their experiences, motivations, and feelings.

  • Personal Coaching
  • Business and Executive Coaching
  • Sales Coaching
  • Optimization and training for key account managers and sales teams
  • Further development and support for executives in leadership tasks, role changes, or professional reorientation
  • Team Workshops

I bring over 20 years of experience in marketing, sales, and management to my work. I began my career by successfully completing vocational training in the hotel industry and a degree in business administration. Subsequently, I held various positions in marketing and sales—taking on leadership roles since 2003. My specialties are the areas of marketing and sales.

I completed my BaTB-certified trainer training in 2013 and my coach training, certified according to DBVC (German Federal Association for Coaching) criteria, in 2017. I have been working successfully as an independent consultant, trainer, and coach since 2015. My consulting focus lies in telecommunications, services, and retail. In training and coaching, I work across all industries. Trainings and workshops that change behavior, expand competencies, and optimize team collaboration are custom-designed, delivered, and followed up by me according to client needs. In coaching, my focus is on the “HOW”—how one acts or reacts in certain situations, which inner attitude underlies the behavior, and how a different attitude can be tested in practice to lead to more “successful” behaviors.

In my role as an independent coach, trainer, and consultant, I am inspired by the proximity to diverse people and the variety of activities and topics. I bring a passion for people, my professional expertise, and my many years of professional experience to the coaching sessions. I am fascinated by the changes that occur in individuals and teams as a result of my work.

I was born in 1970, am married, and have two sons. I spent my youth abroad and still enjoy long trips . In addition to time with my family and good friends , , I like to spend my free time, looking at the world from my VW bus, or hiking to a summit on a mountain path , or reading on the sofa with a book in my hand.

We are the Coaching Team München

We are connected on a personal level by a warm friendship and professionally by our shared coaching training at the Hephaistos Coaching Zentrum München. The training is certified by the DBVC. Continuous professional development and supervision are a matter of course for us. Our professional foundation is the Metatheory of Change.

What distinguishes us as a team

Practical experience

We bring leadership and management experience from the business world and meet our clients at eye level. We are coaches by passion. With our second professional pillar—as managing directors or project managers, marketing specialists, trainers—we are right in the middle of business and know what matters. We are thoroughly familiar with the changes in the working world and its topics such as digital transformation, agility, and design thinking. This enables us to understand our clients’ professional challenges very well, such as constant pressure to adapt to new developments, speed, and permanent availability, along with the associated capacity for change.

Industry background

We all come from industry and have accumulated years of professional experience in the fields of media, telecommunications, consumer goods, and retail. We know industries that are under considerable pressure to change due to digital business models and social transformation from the inside. We have experienced firsthand what this means for individuals—what challenges they face.

Flexibility

One of us is always a good fit. Furthermore, we have a network of specialized coaches whom we can bring in as needed for reasons of compatibility, specific topics, or capacity. If things should not work out well with one of us, switching to another team member during the coaching process is entirely possible without any problems.
